Hola amigos!

I knew I wanted to be a teacher because, When I look back over my 12 years of schooling, there are a few teachers that stand out in my mind that were interesting, dynamic and influential in my development. These teachers inspired me growing up, and if I could be that person to a student, then it would be a very rewarding career. Teaching gives me the opportunity to make a difference in my student’s life and development. I also believe that teaching is a profession in which I can be a learner, a teacher, a career all in one.   I feel that I can make a difference teaching to my Students when I realize their potential in a certain area, or when they can achieve certain goals when they set their minds to it and put in the effort. Also, even small milestones in the classroom like engaging students in a particular topic when they are learning Spanish as a second Language.

About me, Soon after I finished my teaching course in Colombia I got a job working in there and was  working there when i started to love  teach spanish as a second language.  The atmosphere in the school was very positive, However, after a couple of years I decided I would give up the great weather to see some of the world and decided to move to Melbourne. At first it was an overwhelming experience but I soon learnt the Australian way. Now I can honestly say that I love the pace of life here, the excitement of living in a lovely city and even the changeable weather!

I have 5 years experience abroad, and 2 years in here. Im teaching at high School, private school and  Uni spanish Students. In addition,  I am a Spanish studies Director of a very well known Spanish School in Melbourne.

Traveling to Latino america or Spain?

Living and working in Latin America can be an everyday adventure for people who are accustomed to stability and certainty. Indeed, what characterizes most of the Latin American countries is continuous political and economic change that affects the business environment and society as a whole.
Culturally speaking, Latin America presents foreigners with tremendous opportunities to learn about the rich diversity manifested from the mixture of races and traditions. In countries such as Argentina, Brazil, and Chile, there has been a significant influx of Europeans from various Mediterranean and Slavic countries that has over time created familiar environments for businesspeople from Western societies.
Doing business in Latin America is both challenging and extremely rewarding. Those who come from other areas of the world certainly will learn how the locals have addressed the volatility that now has become prevalent elsewhere—a definite plus for management development. And they will have the added advantage of enjoying the richness and vibrancy of the Latin culture.
One key to doing business successfully in the region is understanding the importance of protocol. For example, introductions are more formal, orderly, and ritualistic. Last names, titles, and connections always are mentioned. Greetings, salutations, and asking about one another’s family are critical elements of building rapport—not only important in everyday life situations, but also paramount to building strong business relationships.
Doing business and relocating employees to Latin America requires knowledge of specific technical migratory details as well as cultural aspects of each country and region where a company expects to establish its operations. A thorough investigation of migratory law and social and commercial culture significantly will reduce risks, ensure compliance, and set up the right framework so that both operations and individuals relocated to the region achieve their business objectives and benefit from the experience.
